Atalanta leave Touré out while Parma and Marseille battle for his signature before Deik Cup clash in Rotterdam pre‑season friendly on Sunday
Atalanta announced that the squad travelling to Rotterdam for the Deik Cup will face Feyenoord, with the match scheduled for Sunday at 14:00 UK time (15:00 CEST). The club confirmed the list of players on its website, highlighting the absence of forward El Bilal Touré.
The confirmed roster includes Ahanor, Bellanova, Bernasconi, Carnesecchi, Cassa, De Roon, Djimsiti, Ederson, Gianluca Gaetano, Kolasinac, Kossounou, Krstovic, Maldini, Obric, Pasalic, Raspadori, Samardzic, Scalvini, Scamacca, Sportiello, I. Sulemana, K. Sulemana, Vismara, Zalewski and Zappacosta. Touré’s name was the only notable omission from the travelling party.
Touré arrived at Atalanta as a €30 million investment from UD Almería in the summer of 2023, but he failed to meet expectations. The Mali international was subsequently loaned to VfB Stuttgart and then to Beşiktaş, and the club now sees no future for him in Bergamo.
According to transfer analyst Alfredo Pedullà, Parma are the most likely destination, planning a loan deal with an option to buy that could become an obligation if certain conditions are satisfied. This potential move reflects Parma’s interest in securing the striker’s services.
Olympique Marseille are also identified as strong contenders for the player, adding another option to Touré’s possible exit from Atalanta. Both clubs are actively monitoring the situation as the Deik Cup approaches.
Maurizio Sarri’s pre‑season preparations have already produced a 3‑2 victory over Arezzo, following an earlier 2‑1 win against the club’s own youth side. These results mark the only competitive fixtures for Sarri’s squad so far.
Gianluca Gaetano posed with Atalanta director Cristiano Giuntoli after completing his transfer, underscoring the club’s ongoing activity in the market ahead of the Dutch tour.
