Barcelona rules out signing PSG winger Bradley Barcola

Barcelona have ruled out signing Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola after securing Anthony Gordon. The club confirmed the decision as part of its summer strategy. Anthony Gordon completed his move from Newcastle United after the 2025/26 season ended. Deco led the negotiations and Barcelona announced Gordon as a Barcelona player shortly thereafter. Since Gordon's arrival, Barcelona's transfer targets have rotated daily, with the latest name linked to the club being Bradley Barcola. Bradley Barcola could leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer after losing prominence under Luis Enrique. His situation has attracted attention across Europe. Barcola has many suitors, especially in the Premier League, but Barcelona are not among the clubs actively pursuing him. The Catalan side prefers to monitor elite young attackers without committing resources. Barcelona already have Raphinha and Gordon on the wings, making an additional winger redundant. Adding Barcola would therefore provide little tactical benefit. With Gordon secured, Barcelona's priority shifts to a natural centre‑forward, and Julian Alvarez remains the main dream target. The club’s next major effort is expected to focus on a No. 9. Barcola's price could exceed €70 million, a sum Barcelona are unlikely to spend on a position they have filled. Premier League clubs such as Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United have contacted his camp, while Barcola focuses on the World Cup with France.
