Belgian FA Extends Adidas Kit Deal Until 2034

The Royal Belgian Football Association announced on Friday that its kit partnership with German sportswear giant Adidas has been renewed through 2034, securing the Red Devils and Red Flames as outfitters for the next two World Cups and two European Championships. The statement confirms the partnership will run until 2034. Adidas first became the Belgian FA’s kit supplier in 2015, reviving a historic link that existed before Nike’s tenure. Between 2010 and 2014 Burrda Sport supplied the kits, while Nike equipped the national sides from 1999 to 2010. Adidas also dressed Belgium at Euro 1980 and the 1986 World Cup, where the Red Devils finished fourth. Peter Willems, CEO of the Belgian FA, said: “We are very proud that we can continue our cooperation with adidas. Long‑term partnerships are an essential part of our strategy, and the confidence of an international reference such as adidas confirms we are on the right track.” Sam Handy, General Manager of adidas Football, added: “Now the football world celebrates the best of the sport, we are particularly proud that we extend our cooperation with the Royal Belgian Football Association.” He continued, “We were there when Belgium achieved its greatest successes, we made together iconic shirts and we have great confidence in the future generations of the Red Devils and Red Flames, and in the further development of football in Belgium.” Adidas will provide kits for the Red Devils for at least the next two World Cups (2030 and 2034) and the next two European Championships (2028 and 2032), subject to qualification. The agreement also covers the Red Flames, ensuring continuity across both men’s and women’s national teams. The Belgian FA’s decision underscores a commitment to continuity with a historic partner, reinforcing the long‑standing relationship between the federation and Adidas. The extension aligns with the federation’s broader strategy to maintain stable commercial relationships.
