Castagne hails locker‑room spark after Belgium’s dramatic comeback

Belgium’s midfielder Timothy Castagne said the dressing‑room after the World Cup win over Senegal was a ‘top moment’, as the Red Devils erased a 0‑2 deficit to clinch a 3‑2 victory in on Wednesday in Seattle and praised the impact of early substitute Diego Moreira.

After falling behind early, Belgium equalised through Youri Tielemans before forcing , where Romelu Lukaku netted the decisive goal to secure the comeback. The match marked one of the most spectacular performances in recent Belgian history.

“I can laugh, but when training starts I’m focused,” Castagne explained, noting that a passing drill or a training match feels the same to him and that he aims to lead by example. He added that his concentration helps the squad maintain intensity.
