Chelsea Target Barcelona Playmaker Dani Olmo for €70m
Chelsea are monitoring Barcelona playmaker Dani Olmo, with a reported €70m price tag for the Spain international this off‑season.
Olmo, 28, recorded eight goals and ten assists in 49 matches for Barcelona across all competitions last season.
His performances place him among La Liga’s top playmakers, according to the report.
Olmo’s contract with Barcelona runs until summer 2030, which could limit Chelsea’s ability to secure him cheaply.
The Spanish midfielder combines long‑range shooting, vision and dribbling, and can operate as an attacking midfielder, left winger or striker.
Manager Xabi Alonso could integrate Olmo into Chelsea’s attack, but the player will need adaptation time to the Premier League before becoming a regular starter at Stamford Bridge.
