Erwan Colas extends Le Mans deal to 2029

Le Mans FC announced on Monday that 29‑year‑old forward Erwan Colas has signed a new three‑year contract, pushing his stay at the Sarthe club out to 2029. The extension follows a season in which Colas contributed six goals and three assists in 29 Ligue 2 matches, helping secure promotion.

Le Mans FC are gearing up for their upcoming return to Ligue 1 after achieving promotion last season. The club’s preparations include squad reinforcement and tactical planning under manager Patrick Videira.

The club previously announced contract extensions for manager Patrick Videira and forward Antoine Rabillard, who is 30. Both extensions were confirmed earlier in the week, underscoring the club’s commitment to stability.

Le Mans also secured a first professional contract for 20‑year‑old forward Noa Boissé. Boissé’s deal marks his transition from the youth setup to the senior squad.

Erwan Colas was originally linked to Le Mans until 30 June of this year. The new agreement adds three years, extending his stay to the summer of 2029.

Before joining Le Mans in 2023, Colas played for FC Lorient’s reserve team and the American side Stetson Hatters. His experience abroad contributed to his development before establishing himself in France.

Since his arrival, Colas has become a key substitute for Videira’s side. His impact off the bench, highlighted by his six goals and three assists, proved vital in the promotion campaign.

The announcement was reported by journalist Léo Aschi. Aschi’s coverage provides the details of the contract extension and related club moves.
