Etienne Camara signs four-year deal with Panathinaikos

Etienne Camara, the 23-year-old French-Guinean midfielder, departs Sporting Charleroi for Greek Super League side Panathinaikos, signing a four-year contract as the Belgian club reshapes its squad ahead of the 2026-27 season. The move follows his two-year spell at Charleroi after arriving from Udinese.

Camara joined Charleroi in February 2024, arriving from Italian Serie A club Udinese. He quickly became a regular feature in the Belgian side's midfield.

During his time with the Carolo's, Camara featured in 85 matches, scoring two goals and providing five assists. His contributions helped Charleroi maintain a competitive edge in the Jupiler Pro League.

The club highlighted his regularity, volume and collective sense as key attributes.

These remarks underscore his role in ball recovery, build‑up play and overall team stability.

Charleroi thanked Camara for his attitude, professionalism and involvement throughout his period at the club. The Belgian side wishes him success as he embarks on his four-year stint in Greece.
