Feyenoord offers three‑year deal to Ajax forward Anass Moumane

Ajax forward Anass Moumane, 18, is set to leave on a free transfer after Feyenoord reportedly presented a three‑year contract, according to a Thursday report by VoetbalPrimeur. The Dutch forward’s departure raises questions about Ajax’s handling of a rival approach.

VoetbalPrimeur announced on Thursday that the 18‑year‑old striker Anass Moumane can move from Ajax to Feyenoord. The move would be on a free transfer, with no prior agreement concerning a potential switch to a direct competitor.

Moumane, a forward, is allowed to leave Ajax without a transfer fee. Ajax has reportedly told him he may depart freely.

"Other clubs all see the talent. It is truly a special player. He is someone you definitely want in the youth setup. He is quite unique. He has a good shot, good insight, is reasonably quick and has good dribbling. A hands‑on player, a beautiful player," said Dennie van Laar on the #DoneDeal podcast. He added that the rival smelled it and Feyenoord came with an offer.

"They have told him he can go free. Yes, really," noted Dennie van Laar. "Now there is a three‑year offer from Feyenoord to take him free. Then you cut yourself incredibly as Ajax if you make no arrangements. At least say you cannot go free to a direct competitor, or demand a good resale… I am curious what Ajax will do," he continued.
