Fullkrug tops the scorers' list while recalling Milan

Niclas Fullkrug has scored eleven goals in the first nine matchdays, becoming the top scorer of the Bundesliga's goal-scoring chart.

Among the most spectacular goals, the one scored in the 2-2 draw against Borussia Dortmund, which took place a week ago, was described as truly beautiful.

After leaving Milan, without great regrets, the striker found himself back in his homeland, leaving behind anonymous seasons marked by some injuries.

The return home and the language

His present could still speak Italian, following the end of the loan at the red-and-black team.

At the beginning of summer, Venezia had included him in a poll, but the proposal stalled due to financial demands and the balance in the orange‑black‑green dressing room.

His name was also linked to Lazio, but the deal never materialised before Pinamonti's arrival.

Fullkrug told MilanNews that he could have scored and provided more goals for Milan, describing his time at the red-and-black club as ‘truly beautiful’ and rich in good performances.

He added that the decision to leave did not depend on a single person, mentioning West Ham and Milan, and that he continues to follow Milan, wishing luck to his teammates and recalling his best friend Ardon Jashari.
