Juve, Milan, Inter eye three transfer targets

Serie A clubs are circling three transfer targets as the World Cup knockout rounds approach. Juventus are monitoring Roma goalkeeper Mile Svilar amid uncertainty over Michele Di Gregorio’s future. General manager Giovanni Carnevali is reportedly prioritising the 1999-born keeper, though Roma value him at over €50 million. Milan have set their sights on Daichi Kamada, a free-agent option after Crystal Palace’s Conference League triumph. The Japanese midfielder has scored twice at the World Cup so far, including against the Netherlands and Tunisia. AC Milan sporting director Paolo Maldini is familiar with Kamada after previous links in summer 2023. Inter Milan are considering Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah as a replacement for Marco Palestra. Sporting director Beppe Ausilio has identified the 26-year-old as a defensive option, with Atletico Madrid also tracking Udinese’s Oumar Solet. Napoli have opened exploratory talks for Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario. Sky Sport reports the Azzurri have gathered information on Vicario’s Serie A return ambitions, though any deal hinges on outgoing transfers. Napoli must resolve the futures of Alex Meret and Vanja Milinkovic-Savic before proceeding. Roma face competition for Mason Greenwood after Al Hilal entered the race. The Saudi club’s financial strength risks pricing the Giallorossi out of an auction already featuring Fenerbahçe’s €35 million offer. Atletico Madrid remain in the background without an official bid. Lazio have ruled out selling Gustav Isaksen, with the Danish winger’s contract running until 2028 and relations with the club positive.
