Juventus' pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani stalls over price
Juventus Football Club have been pursuing French striker Randal Kolo Muani since January, after his loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur ended in a relegation battle. Negotiations are currently on hold because Juventus consider the financial package demanded by Paris Saint-Germain too high.
In January, Juventus attempted to end Muani's loan and persuade Paris Saint-Germain to release him, but the effort failed. The club has since re‑entered the chase for the striker.
Italian transfer analyst Gianluca Di Marzio reported that the pursuit is currently on standby. The pause reflects unresolved financial terms between the parties.
Negotiations stalled because Juventus deem the proposed financial package excessive. The club has temporarily withdrawn from talks with Paris Saint-Germain over the high price.
Consequently, Juventus have not reached any contract agreement with Muani. The striker remains on Paris Saint-Germain’s books.
Paris Saint-Germain are not in a hurry to finalize a sale. They acknowledge that the transfer window is still early and a decision may come later.
PSG’s stance allows them to keep their asking price high. This strategy could attract other clubs capable of meeting the financial demands.
