Juventus Reach Principle Deal for Goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez

Juventus have reached a principle agreement with Aston Villa and Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez. The deal would bind Martinez to a three‑year contract at the Allianz Stadium. He has accepted a €5 million per‑year salary, lower than his current earnings at Aston Villa. Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti is targeting an experienced goalkeeper for the Bianconeri. Villa’s asking price is reported around €10 million, while Juventus are pushing for a transfer on practically free terms. Martinez remains under contract with Aston Villa until 2029, so any move depends on the Premier League club’s willingness to release him. The clubs have yet to finalize the economic details.
