Juventus trigger €4.8m option to sign Jeremie Boga
Juventus have exercised their €4.8 million purchase option for Ivorian winger Jeremie Boga, turning his loan from Nice into a permanent transfer. The move, confirmed by Gianluca Di Marzio via CalcioMercato, is the first piece of business for new Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali.
Boga scored four goals in 16 appearances during the second half of the season. Carnevali previously worked with Boga at Sassuolo between 2018 and January 2022, before the player moved to Atalanta for €22 million. Juventus secured the player for less than a quarter of that fee, highlighting the loan structure’s shrewdness.
