Lineth Beerensteyn signs with Real Madrid until 2029
Lineth Beerensteyn has signed a contract with Real Madrid, extending to mid‑2029. The club announced the deal on its website.
Beerensteyn announced in April that she would leave German top‑flight side VfL Wolfsburg. She previously played for Juventus and Bayern München.
Her résumé includes the 2017 European Championship, a 2021 Bundesliga title with Bayern München, and the 2023 Italian Cup with Juventus. In her first season at Wolfsburg she finished as top scorer of the German competition.
At Real Madrid she will join fellow Dutch striker Lotte Keukelaar. Real Madrid's women's team finished second in the Spanish competition last season with 72 points, fifteen points behind champions Barcelona.
