Liverpool eyes Bradley Barcola as Salah replacement
Liverpool's transfer agenda is accelerating under new head coach Andoni Iraola. Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson and Ibrahima Konate are set to leave on free transfers at month end. The club's next priority is securing a forward to replace Salah, with interest reported in PSG's Bradley Barcola.
Jeremy Jacquet has already arrived from Rennes for a reported £60 million, adding depth to the front line. Earlier, RB Leipzig forward Yan Diomande was mentioned as a potential Salah replacement, but the focus has shifted to Barcola.
TalkSPORT journalist Alex Crook said Barcola has asked to leave PSG this summer. Crook added that both Liverpool and Arsenal are monitoring the 23‑year‑old's situation.
Barcola recorded 21 goals and 21 assists across all competitions in the 2024/25 season as PSG captured the UEFA Champions League. Despite limited minutes this season, he still managed 13 goals and seven assists. A move to Liverpool would give him a first‑choice role, either as Salah's successor or as a left‑wing option.
