Liverpool submits €100m bid for Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig

Liverpool have offered €100 million to RB Leipzig for Ivorian winger Yan Diomande, as the Premier League club intensifies its transfer activity following the signing of Víctor Muñoz. Liverpool announced the arrival of Víctor Muñoz on Thursday. The Spanish international can operate on both wings but primarily occupies the left flank, competing with Cody Gakpo and Rio Ngumoha for a place in the front line. The club also aims to replace Mohamed Salah on the right wing. The primary target for the right‑wing vacancy is Ivorian international Yan Diomande, and Liverpool has already sent a €100 million proposal to RB Leipzig. Paris Saint‑Germain have also shown interest in Diomande, though they have not yet submitted a formal offer. Liverpool appears to have an advantage on personal terms with the French champions. RB Leipzig are demanding a fee exceeding €130 million for Diomande. If negotiations fail, Liverpool have identified alternatives such as Yankuba Minteh of Brighton & Hove Albion, Said El Mala of FC Köln, and Matias Fernandez‑Pardo of Lille. Diomande has impressed at Leipzig this season, scoring twelve goals and providing nine assists in thirty‑three Bundesliga appearances. He also featured for Ivory Coast in their 1‑0 World Cup group‑stage win over Ecuador. Liverpool will need to finalize terms with Leipzig before the summer window closes. A successful deal would give the Reds a versatile winger to complement their newly signed Víctor Muñoz.
