Liverpool target Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni
Liverpool are reported to be in the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni this summer. Graeme Bailey noted that the Reds must also outbid Manchester United for the 26‑year‑old France international. Tchouameni recorded two goals and two assists in 49 appearances for Real Madrid last season.
The interest from Liverpool follows Tchouameni’s strong form in La Liga, where he has been described as one of the best central midfielders. His contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium runs until the summer of 2028, limiting the window for a cheap acquisition.
Tchouameni’s style combines aggressive tackling with the ability to drive forward and create chances. He can strike the ball with power from distance and often delivers decisive passes in the final third.
Andoni Iraola is said to view the French midfielder as a potential boost for Liverpool’s midfield depth. Iraola would need to act in the off‑season to secure the player for a reasonable fee.
