Milan boss Ruben Amorim targets Sporting’s Trincao, Hjulmand

Milan manager Ruben Amorim has identified two Sporting CP players as potential transfer targets, with Portuguese winger Trincao and Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand singled out for scouting. The Serie A club will assess their fit within a 3‑4‑2‑1 formation before any move.

Gianluca Di Marzio reported that Amorim’s interest centres on Sporting’s Trincao and Hjulmand. Both players have been linked with Milan in recent weeks.

Amorim intends to review the existing Milan squad before committing to any major signings. He will decide whether the two targets fit the club’s 3‑4‑2‑1 system.

Although Pedro Goncalves has also been mentioned as a possible acquisition, he does not appear on the Rossoneri shortlist. The report indicates Goncalves is not currently a priority for the Italian side.

The article notes that giving a manager full control over transfers can be risky for a club of Milan’s size. It warns that neither Trincao nor Hjulmand is likely to arrive for a low fee.

The piece is authored by Kaustubh Pandey for GIFN. Pandey highlights the potential impact of Amorim’s transfer preferences on Milan’s upcoming campaign.
