Four days later, on Wednesday 8 July, Genk will host SK Beveren in a closed‑door training match. The encounter is intended to give the blue‑white side additional match rhythm after the summer break.
On Saturday 11 July, Genk will travel to the Netherlands for a test match against Fortuna Sittard. The clubs have maintained a long‑standing relationship, and the fixture is viewed as a valuable preparation test.
