Nico Paz prefers another season at Como over Real Madrid
Nico Paz prefers to spend another season at Como despite Real Madrid holding a €9 million buy‑back option. The Argentine midfielder’s wish challenges Real Madrid’s plan to bring him back before the June 30 deadline.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano said Paz believes remaining in Italy will aid his development. He remains deeply attached to Real Madrid and envisions his long‑term future at the Santiago Bernabeu.
At Como, Paz would work under coach Cesc Fabregas, who can guarantee him regular playing time. Real Madrid’s squad already faces fierce competition for places and possible new signings this summer.
Jose Mourinho will decide whether to activate the buy‑back clause or allow Paz another year at Como. Real Madrid retains a strong position thanks to the favourable terms of the buy‑back agreement.
