Porto and Braga eye Saint-Étienne striker Lucas Stassin
FC Porto and SC Braga are linked with Lucas Stassin after AS Saint-Étienne's relegation. Both Portuguese clubs have reportedly scouted the Belgian centre‑forward. Stassin's agent was recently in Portugal, according to reports.
AS Saint-Étienne failed to regain Ligue 1 status. The club lost to OGC Nice in the promotion/relegation play‑off.
Relegation to Ligue 2 for the 2024/25 season did not trigger departures of Lucas Stassin and Zuriko Davitashvili. The club's strong financial standing and ambition kept both players.
Belgian media report that FC Porto are interested in Stassin. A Bola, however, says the Belgian is not a priority target for the Portuguese giants.
A Bola also indicates SC Braga are targeting the centre‑forward. Stassin's representatives were recently in Portugal, suggesting possible negotiations.
If AS Saint-Étienne cannot retain the duo, both Stassin and Davitashvili could leave this summer. The story was reported by GFFN's Luke Entwistle.
