Porto asks for UEFA lunch to be cancelled before the match

The Porto‑Napoli match will be played this evening in the Champions League. The usual UEFA lunch has been cancelled, with Napoli executives absent in Portugal.
The latest news from SSC Napoli reported the cancellation. The traditional UEFA lunch will not take place due to the absences of De Laurentiis and senior executives, as confirmed by Il Mattino. Il Mattino stated: “It is an emergency not only on the field, with all the injured, but also among the executives.”
The traditional UEFA lunch scheduled for noon is slated for cancellation. The reason is the absence of Napoli’s management group: De Laurentiis returned to Rome after a week in Geneva and rarely follows away trips. Vice‑president Edo is occupied due to family reasons.

Also the CEO Chiavelli and the business general manager Bianchini are absent. Porto has requested the cancellation of the meeting. However, the lunch will not take place also because Porto’s management is engaged in a summit with local authorities, communicated two days ago to SSC Napoli.
