PSV confirms Salah-Eddine departure as buy-option expires
PSV Eindhoven will not trigger the buy option for left-back Anass Salah-Eddine, ending his time at the club. The option expires next Monday, and no agreement was reached with his representatives.
Fabrizio Romano confirmed the decision, ruling out any extension of Salah-Eddine’s stay. The Dutch club had already indicated his departure was likely, but now the move is finalized.
Multiple clubs are reportedly interested in signing Salah-Eddine once he becomes a free agent. His contract with PSV was set to expire next season, but the failed buy-option accelerates his exit.
Salah-Eddine, 23, joined PSV in 2021 and made 65 appearances for the Eindhoven side. His departure leaves a defensive void ahead of the summer transfer window.
