PSV target Maksat Abraev, 18‑year‑old Kazakh striker
PSV Eindhoven have identified 18‑year‑old Maksat Abraev of FC Astana as a transfer target, who has already featured in two senior internationals this month, could join the Dutch club before the summer window.
Abraev was recently linked with Belgian side Club Brugge, but PSV is now reported to be in the market for the teenager. The interest comes as PSV seeks to bolster its attacking options ahead of the upcoming season.
Abraev made his debut for the Kazakhstan national team this month, playing a few minutes in a friendly against Armenia. A few days later he appeared again, this time featuring in the match versus Hungary.
In the Kazakhstan Premier League this season, Abraev has made fourteen appearances for FC Astana. He has contributed two goals and three assists during those matches.
Transfermarkt values the right‑footed forward at €200,000. His contract with FC Astana runs until the end of 2028.
Throughout the current campaign, Abraev has been deployed on both the left and right flanks for Astana. His versatility adds to the appeal for clubs seeking a wide attacker.
