Real Madrid expects €60‑million from academy sales

Real Madrid could raise at least €60 million from academy-related transfers this summer, with potential to reach €100 million if several high‑profile departures materialise.

The club’s projections focus on income from academy graduates and player sales linked to La Fabrica. Under academy director Manu Fernandez and chief executive Jose Angel Sanchez, Real Madrid routinely inserts buy‑back clauses, sell‑on percentages and other future rights into transfer deals.

Victor Munoz is close to completing a move to Newcastle United after a season on loan at Osasuna. The transaction could net Real Madrid around €20 million from the original fee and the retained percentage on any future sale.

Earlier this year, Alex Jimenez’s transfers to AC Milan and subsequently to Bournemouth generated close to €15 million for Real Madrid. The club also retains varying levels of control over former academy players Sergio Arribas, Mario Gila, Chema Andres, Antonio Blanco, Alvaro Rodriguez and Rafa Obrador, which could produce additional income.

Interest is reported for several Real Madrid Castilla players, with Cesar Palacios monitored by Como and Osasuna, and Manuel Angel, Dani Yanez and Victor Valdepenas attracting attention from potential suitors. First‑team academy graduates such as Gonzalo Garcia (valued at €60 million), Fran Garcia and Raul Asencio could further boost the summer’s academy‑related revenue toward the €100 million ceiling.
