Real Madrid stalls returns of three academy players
Real Madrid has decided to keep three highly‑rated academy graduates – Nico Paz, Chema Andres and Jacobo Ramon – at their current clubs for the immediate future, while retaining 50 % of their rights. The club leaves open the possibility of a 2027 return.
Raul Asencio remains a member of the Real Madrid first team. Thiago Pitarch also impressed under Alvaro Arbeloa in the second half of the last season.
Nico Paz has asked to continue his development at Como, targeting a return to Spain in 2027. Los Vikingos could reacquire him for €10 million.

Jacobo Ramon’s pathway back to Real Madrid is complicated by an excess of centre‑backs at Como and Jose Mourinho’s preference for a more experienced defender. Chelsea have shown interest in the defender. Chema Andres is impressing in Germany with Stuttgart. Mourinho reportedly favours Enzo Fernandez or Mateus Fernandes for midfield, while Aurelien Tchouameni is linked with a move away.Real Madrid end pursuit of Mateus Fernandes for Tottenham move
