Roberto Carlos admits losing 99% of his fortune at the Summit

Roberto Carlos explained that he had lost a large part of the wealth built up over years of success, stating: “I had problems with people who emptied my bank account”. Due to agents and family issues, he said he lost 99 % of everything he had earned from football.

During the speech, the 53‑year‑old delivered a message to young players, urging them not to repeat his mistakes. “I have made mistakes and for that I ask the younger ones not to make any more”, he said, emphasizing the importance of carefully choosing the people who manage one’s affairs.
