Rodri comments on training clash with Gavi

Rodri broke his silence after a training-ground clash with Barcelona midfielder Gavi during Spain's World Cup preparations. The challenge left the Manchester City midfielder in visible pain but did not result in a serious injury. Gavi challenged for possession with his usual aggression, and his tackle knocked Rodri to the ground. Medical staff attended Rodri immediately. After the incident Gavi reportedly apologised to his teammate. Speaking to El Larguero, Rodri said Gavi is a hothead who gives him a hard time and that he was gutted by the episode. Rodri stressed there are no hard feelings and described the incident as a reflection of Gavi's competitive character. Coach Luis de la Fuente shared a similar view.
