Saibari's €50m leap from FT Antwerpen to Bayern looms

🇧🇪
Moroccan forward Ismael Saibari, 24, is set to join Bayern Munich for €50 million after scoring in every World Cup group match. He began his career at Belgian futsal club FT Antwerpen, and his former futsal coach Karim Bachar praised his rapid rise. Saibari’s football journey started on the indoor courts of FT Antwerpen, a club known for its futsal programme. The early training laid the foundation for his technical development. At the recent World Cup, Saibari found the net in each of the three group‑stage fixtures. His consistent scoring attracted attention from top European clubs. Bayern Munich have agreed to a €50 million transfer fee to secure his services. The deal positions the German giants as his next destination. “If Saibari and Doku had openly talked about their realised dream transfers in the hall, I would have called them crazy,” said former coach Karim Bachar. Bachar’s comment underscores the unexpected speed of Saibari’s rise. The transfer is scheduled to be completed in the coming weeks. Saibari is expected to report to Bayern Munich ahead of the new season.
