Savinho Keen on Tottenham Move, Says Transfer Insider

Journalist Pete O’Rourke said on the Transfer Insider podcast that Brazilian winger Savinho is keen to join Tottenham Hotspur this summer. He added that Tottenham are expected to formalise their interest with an offer in the coming weeks. Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur both play in the Premier League.

O’Rourke noted Savinho also wants to move to North London, indicating mutual willingness. He suggested Manchester City would not block a deal if a good offer arrives. All parties are prepared to conclude a transfer quickly, according to the journalist.

Savinho made 36 appearances for Manchester City across all competitions last season, scoring four goals and providing three assists. He struggled to secure a regular first‑team place but delivered several impressive final‑third displays. His contract at the Etihad Stadium runs until the summer of 2031, which could limit Tottenham’s ability to sign him cheaply.

O’Rourke highlighted Savinho’s pace, dribbling, long‑range shooting and ability to create chances from the left wing or as a number ten. He argued that these attributes would add pace and firepower to Tottenham Hotspur under manager Roberto De Zerbi. De Zerbi, according to the analysis, would be wise to pursue the 22‑year‑old in this transfer window.
