Spurs unleash cash flood, target 100‑million Premier League‑spits

🇬🇧 By 4All Football Editorial ·

Vandaag om 00:05, Tottenham Hotspur confirmed Eli Junior Kroupi as its next pepper‑expensive transfer target, with The Daily reporting the 20‑year‑old’s breakthrough season of thirteen Premier League goals for Bournemouth and a price tag of around €100 million this summer.

Roberto De Zerbi’s formation has zeroed in on the twenty‑year‑old Frenchman, and social media has been buzzing all week that the club will approach Bournemouth for the Fransman, who is expected to cost €100 million.

Kroupi, a former FC Lorient player, is also linked with Paris Saint‑Germain and Arsenal, widening the pool of interested clubs.

A key question remains whether the talent will join a club that finished seventeenth in the Premier League last season and cannot offer Europees football, unlike sixth‑placed Bournemouth.

Jan Paul van Hecke, Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali arrived from Brighton & Hove Albion, West Ham United and Newcastle United respectively, with Spurs spending a combined €267 million on the trio this summer.

In a short span Tottenham broke its own transfer record twice, first paying €99 million for Fernandes and shortly after €108 million for Tonali.

Earlier the Londense giant secured former Feyenoord midfielder Marcos Senesi on a free transfer; the Argentijn was Kroupi’s teammate at Bournemouth last season.

The Cherries also lost their manager as Liverpool appointed Andoni Iraola to replace Arne Slot.
