Tottenham pursue Arsenal U‑18 winger Kryan Thompson
Tottenham Hotspur are set to sign Arsenal youngster Kryan Thompson this summer, according to journalist Gary Ward. The 16‑year‑old winger has already featured 29 times for Arsenal’s Under‑18 side, scoring three goals and providing a couple of assists.
Thompson progressed through the youth system of West Ham United before moving to Arsenal as a teenager in 2024. He has since become an important member of Arsenal’s Under‑18 team.
His performances have placed him among the best young wingers in English football. Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly closing in on bringing Thompson to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the upcoming off‑season.
Manager Roberto De Zerbi would see Thompson add quality to his attack in the long term, although the player is not yet ready for a regular first‑team role. De Zerbi celebrated after Tottenham secured safety from relegation in a Premier League match against Everton on 24 May 2026 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The match photograph was captured by Richard Heathcote for Getty Images. Spurs are advised to finalize a deal for Thompson before the summer transfer window closes.
The club regards him as a prospect to watch in the long run. He remains raw but could develop into a future star in English football if he continues to improve each season.
