Unax scores twice as Mirandés beats Granada to stay alive

Mirandés secured a crucial 3-1 win over Granada at Estadio Municipal de Anduva, keeping their LaLiga SmartBank survival hopes alive. Unax Ugalde netted twice, while Javi Hernández added a goal in the second half.

Granada took the lead in the 21st minute, but Mirandés responded with a 15-minute blitz. Unax equalized in the 31st minute before doubling the lead in the 45th. Javi Hernández made it 3-1 in the 67th minute.

The victory leaves Mirandés just three points adrift of safety with one game remaining. Leganés, the other team in the relegation battle, will face Mirandés in the final matchday.

Unax Ugalde now has four goals in his last five league appearances. Granada remain in the drop zone after their loss.

The match saw 12 yellow cards, including one for Mirandés goalkeeper Leo Román in the 89th minute. Leganés will host Mirandés at Estadio Municipal de Butarque next Sunday.
