The following day, supporters removed the messages from the Anderlecht premises, but soon after they travelled to Coucke’s residence in Merelbeke and displayed a large banner reading “Sois noble et casse toi. Ne nous oblige pas …”, explicitly demanding his departure. Dat deed ik vorig seizoen al en Marc Coucke communiceerde ook openlijk.” Verschueren added, “Het is altijd zijn bedoeling geweest om met Anderlecht prijzen te winnen. Daarom investeerde hij zoveel en voerde hij al die correcties door. Vroeg of laat zal het lukken. Bij Club Brugge duurde het ook tien jaar.
