Victor Munoz's Newcastle Move Gives Real Madrid €15m

Victor Munoz will join Newcastle United this summer. Real Madrid will receive about €15 million from the transfer because they retain 50 % of his economic rights. Newcastle have submitted a verbal offer slightly above €30 million, including a €4 million bonus component. Osasuna have responded with demands for a larger fixed sum and revised payment plans. Real Madrid hold a buy‑back clause on Munoz valid until 31 July and considered exercising it.

The club decided not to, as Nico Paz is set to return after his spell at Como. The move follows Newcastle's sale of Anthony Gordon to Barcelona for €80 million. Munoz has signed a contract running until 2031 and has the player's approval.
