Bermúdez readies first call-up vs USA Olympic champions

Sonia Bermúdez, head coach of the Spanish women's national team, will announce on Tuesday, September 29 at 11:30 the first squad list for the two friendlies against the United States that will be played on October 10 and 13. The announcement will be made through the official channels of the Royal Spanish Football Federation.

An hour later, at 12:30, Bermúdez will appear in the Villalonga hall of the Football City in Las Rozas to answer the media. Journalist Begoña Villarrubia, from the EFE agency, will cover the conference and publish the full list.

The first match will be played on October 10 at Audi Field in Washington at 14:30 local time, which corresponds to 20:30 on the peninsula. Three days later, on October 13, both teams will meet again at Subaru Park in Chester at 19:00 local time, equivalent to 01:00 the next day in Spain.

These matches mark the start of Spain's journey towards the 2027 World Cup in Brazil and pit the Spanish national team against the current Olympic champion, the United States, raising the demands for Bermúdez's new era.
