Endrick forced to leave Real Madrid, a new loan to Lyon

In the stands of the Santiago Bernabéu, the young Brazilian striker Endrick watches the match, but his name does not appear on the team sheet. Arriving in July 2024 from Palmeiras for an estimated fee of €60 million, bonuses included, he has accumulated only four minutes of play, during the clash with Elche (3‑2) on September 15.

A loan to Olympique Lyonnais considered

Last summer, Real Madrid sent Endrick to Olympique Lyonnais for the second half of the season, to guarantee playing time. A new loan this winter is being discussed again, given his lack of minutes.

Since the start of the current campaign, the Brazilian has played only four minutes, all during the match against Elche. This scarcity of appearances fuels rumors of a departure.

Signed from Palmeiras for around €60 million, bonuses included, Endrick was supposed to be the club's next star. Two years later, he still struggles to establish himself in the line‑up of Carlo Ancelotti, then Xabi Alonso, and now under José Mourinho.

Under Carlo Ancelotti, he made his debut but did not find a regular place. Xabi Alonso followed, then José Mourinho, without the situation improving.

Alexandre Pato, former AC Milan player, believes the youngster must change clubs. “He needs to look for a team,” he said, adding that discussions with Florentino Pérez and José Mourinho are needed to consider the options.
