Marcelo and Snoop Dogg push the acquisition of Nantes
The former Brazilian footballer Marcelo and American rapper Snoop Dogg have joined forces in an international proposal to acquire Nantes, a historic French football club that competes in the second division.
The deal is led by the investment group Phenix Sports Invest, whose representative is the Franco‑Portuguese businessman Paulo Tavares.
The agreement foresees an initial investment of around one hundred million euros, with bonus clauses that could raise the total to one hundred and twenty‑five million euros if the team returns to the first division in 2027.
