Hearts value PEC Zwolle striker Koen Kostons at €1.5m

Hearts are reportedly prepared to meet a €1.5 million valuation for PEC Zwolle striker Koen Kostons, the 26‑year‑old Belgian who scored 12 goals in 36 appearances last season. The interest was first hinted by technical director Gerry Hamstra during PEC Zwolle’s first training session, and follows Hearts’ search for a replacement for departing top scorer Lawrence Shankland.

De Stentor Koen Kostons is high on Hearts’ wish list. The Scottish club sees the 26‑year‑old as a prime target to bolster their attack.

Hearts enjoyed a strong season, coming close to winning the league. Celtic secured the championship on the final day by defeating Hearts in a direct match.

Kostons signed a four‑year deal with PEC Zwolle in the 2025 summer transfer window. The contract now runs until mid‑2029.

When Kostons moved to Zwolle, PEC Zwolle paid a €100,000 transfer fee to German side Paderborn.

Hearts are reportedly prepared to meet a valuation of roughly €1.5 million for the striker.

Technical director Gerry Hamstra told De Stentor, “Er is lichte interesse, er gaat wel wat komen” during the first training session. It remains unclear whether an official bid has been submitted to PEC Zwolle.
