Juventus sets €45‑50m price for Thuram as Premier clubs scout
Khephren Thuram has attracted exploratory interest from two Premier League clubs. Juventus are prepared to consider selling the French midfielder for €45‑50 million.
Juventus need roughly €55 million in sales before the end of June to offset the loss of Champions League revenue. The departure of Nico Gonzalez will not cover that shortfall. Bremer’s €58 million release clause only activates in July, leaving a gap in the current financial year.
Kenan Yildiz is categorically off the table, leaving other assets available. Thuram has already rejected approaches from Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. The Premier League enquiries remain exploratory, testing Juventus’s willingness to sell and establishing a price.
Juventus have identified Stanislav Lobotka as a long‑standing target, though De Laurentiis is unlikely to sell to a direct rival at a reduced price despite a €25 million release clause for foreign clubs. Franck Kessie is also under consideration; he is set to leave Al‑Ahli as a free agent, but Spalletti notes his wage demands could be problematic.
