Liverpool Confident They Can Sign £86.3m Yan Diomande
Liverpool believe they can sign Yan Diomande, a winger valued at over €100m (£86.3m), according to transfer journalist Ben Jacobs.
The Merseyside club view the Ivory Coast international as a priority target ahead of the new campaign.
RB Leipzig have set the asking price above €100m and reportedly add about €1m each day while awaiting Diomande’s decision on a new contract.
Leipzig’s strategy aims to keep the price high to buy time, with the price expected to fall if Diomande signals a desire to leave.
Paris Saint‑Germain also pursue Diomande and are described as the reigning European champions, adding significant competition.
Jacobs noted that if Diomande chooses PSG, Liverpool might consider Bradley Barcola, who currently lacks game time behind Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while Desire Doue starts the big games.
Diomande, 19, recorded 13 goals and 10 assists in the most recent season, matching Liverpool’s long‑term strategy of signing elite young talent.
With Diomande expected to decide in the coming weeks, Leipzig seek clarity, PSG remain interested, and Liverpool continue to press their case.
