Reading sign Kyreece Lisbie from Colchester United

Reading have completed the signing of 22‑year‑old Kyreece Lisbie from Colchester United, making him the club’s first addition of the summer transfer window. The winger inked a four‑year contract at the Select Car Leasing Stadium for an undisclosed fee after netting 11 goals last season.

Lisbie primarily operates as a right‑winger but can also feature as a striker or on the left flank. His pace and power were highlighted as key attributes by his new club.

He recorded 51 appearances across all competitions last campaign, contributing 11 goals and eight assists. Those numbers underline his involvement in Colchester United’s attacking play.

In League Two, Lisbie featured 45 times as the U’s finished 12th, ending the season 12 points shy of the play‑off places. The club’s mid‑table finish provided a platform for his development.

"We are delighted to welcome Kyreece to the club," Royals manager Leam Richardson said. "He is a player we have had an interest in for a long time, and we feel he will be a perfect fit for our club and our team."

Richardson praised Lisbie’s pace and power, saying his style should get fans out of their seats. The club anticipates his arrival will add a new dimension to the attacking line‑up.
