Japan’s dominance was evident throughout the match, with Tunisia struggling to create clear chances. The North African side managed just two shots on target in the entire 90 minutes. Japan’s midfield control, led by Wataru Endo, allowed them to dictate the tempo and restrict Tunisia to long-range efforts. Tunisia’s coach acknowledged the gulf in quality after the match. “We faced a very strong team today,” he said. “Japan’s speed and precision were too much for us.” The result leaves Tunisia needing to win their final group match to have any chance of advancing.Sabri Lamouchi dismissed by Tunisia after 5-1 World Cup loss
