Bayern shuts down Real Madrid talks, offers Olise new deal
Bayern Munich have ruled out any negotiations with Real Madrid over 24‑year‑old French winger Michael Olise, confirming the club will instead propose a new contract that could make him one of the highest‑paid players as his current deal runs until summer 2029.
Real Madrid are in the market for a new Galactico, with Michael Olise emerging as the dream option for president Florentino Perez. Reports in Spain suggest the Spanish giants are weighing a club‑record bid of over €200 million for the winger.
Bayern Munich’s Florian Plettenberg stated the German club has no intention of opening negotiations with Real Madrid for Olise. The statement reinforces Bayern’s resolve to keep the French speedster at the Allianz Arena.
Bayern are reportedly preparing a new contract that could make Olise one of the club’s top earners. Earlier reports indicated the deal may include a salary of €25 million per year to deter interest from Los Blancos.
Olise’s representatives have contacted Bayern to confirm that no talks, meetings or negotiations have taken place with Real Madrid. The player’s camp affirmed there has been no contact between the winger and the Spanish side.
In the 2025/26 season Olise made 52 appearances across all competitions, scoring 22 goals and providing 31 assists. His contributions helped Bayern secure a strong campaign in the Bundesliga.
Olise is also impressing for France at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, where a deep run could spark a Ballon d’Or nomination. Such international success would further motivate Bayern to retain the winger.
