Dutch press slam Oranje after 2-2 draw with Japan

Dutch newspapers say the Netherlands national team suffered a hangover after its opening World Cup 2026 match. The match ended in a late 2-2 draw with Japan. Coach Ronald Koeman, forward Memphis Depay and forward Cody Gakpo were not spared by the press. Crysencio Summerville, however, earned compliments.
