Real Madrid eye Portuguese trio from Premier League
Jorge Mendes has offered Real Madrid the chance to sign three Portuguese internationals. Jose Mourinho’s arrival could increase the club’s Portuguese contingent. The trio includes Ruben Dias, Mateus Fernandes and Matheus Nunes. All three ply their trade in the Premier League.
Ruben Dias is a Manchester City centre‑back regarded as one of the world’s top defenders. He would fill Real Madrid’s defensive gap after the departures of Dani Carvajal and David Alaba. A photo by Carlos Rodrigues captured Dias in a Real Madrid context.
Mateus Fernandes is a West Ham midfielder who is already identified as Mourinho’s preferred midfield target. Arsenal and Manchester United have also shown interest, with the English club reportedly demanding over €90 million. Alex Broadway’s image highlighted Fernandes’s potential move.
Matheus Nunes, currently at Manchester City, can operate as a right‑back as well as a midfielder. His versatility would add depth to Real Madrid’s midfield and defence. No free‑transfer option exists for any of the three, meaning a substantial fee would be required.
