Spits Orban faces Hoffenheim Prijskaartje of five million euros
Spits Orban, the 23‑year‑old striker, may leave Hoffenheim after the German club set a Hoffenheim Prijskaartje of five million euros for the Nigeria international, according to Sky Sports. He spent last season on loan at Hellas Verona and appears surplus to requirements for the upcoming campaign.
Last season, Orban was sent on loan from Hoffenheim to Hellas Verona, where he featured as a regular Spits in the Serie A.
During his spell at Hellas Verona, the Nigerian forward played 28 Serie A matches, netting seven goals and providing two assists, but Verona could not avoid relegation to Serie B.
Back at Hoffenheim, Orban has logged a total of 13 official appearances, scoring four times, a modest return for the club’s attacking options.
He arrived at the German side in early 2025, moving from Olympique Lyon, who had previously signed him from KAA Gent, with Hoffenheim paying nine million euros for the striker.
According to Sky Sports, Hoffenheim is now looking to sell the player this summer. Volgens Sky Sports, two clubs have shown interest: Lecce, which competes in Serie A, and Amed Sportif Faaliyetler, a side that will play in the top tier of Turkey (Turkije) next season. The Duitse club hopes to receive roughly five million euros as a Prijskaartje for the Nigeria international. A departure would see Orban leave the Bundesliga in Duitsland.
Voor Hoffenheim, the departure would free up space for other attackers such as Mats Rots and former PSV target Nathan De Cat, who are hoping to make an impression during the pre‑season training camp bij Hoffenheim.
