Aaron Danks reassures Kompany as Bayern triumphs in Fribourg

While Bayern Munich celebrates a victory in Fribourg, the fate of its coach, Vincent Kompany, remains uncertain since his hospitalization. Aaron Danks, interim of the club in his absence, has provided reassuring information, while the group continues its performances on the pitch.

Health updates

Aaron Danks, now at the helm of Bayern Munich, said that the medical feedback was very positive. “Vincent’s condition is stable and he is doing well, he feels a little better each day,” he affirmed, adding that examinations are ongoing but the signals are encouraging.

From his hospital bed, Vincent Kompany followed the match with pleasure and congratulated his assistant as soon as the final whistle blew. He sent a WhatsApp message containing “Well done,” according to the source. Danks replied “Fantastic, now rest well” and attached an emoji representing a kiss.

SportBild reports that Bayern has issued a strict instruction to all visitors: it is forbidden to talk about football with Kompany at the hospital. This measure aims to preserve the coach’s rest during his recovery.

The club remains cautious

Max Eberl, sporting director of the “Rekordmeister,” confirmed that Kompany no longer suffers from headaches. The latest examinations are considered encouraging and the results are heading in the right direction.

Bayern, however, awaits a definitive diagnosis. The club prefers to let its coach rest and take the necessary time to precisely identify the nature of the health issue.

Eberl concluded on an optimistic note, stating that victories like this are the best remedy for Kompany’s morale. “Matches and victories like this are the best remedy for him,” he said.

Aaron Danks had already worked with Kompany at Anderlecht before following him to Munich, which strengthens the mutual trust between the two men. That initial collaboration at Anderlecht laid the foundations of their current partnership.
