When Mourinho reprimands Mbappé after his night out in Paris

While the Spanish press is slamming Kylian Mbappé for his Parisian night out with Ester Exposito and his bike video in the Swiss Alps, José Mourinho met him for a one‑on‑one interview at the Valdebebas training centre, promising to defend him publicly while demanding greater restraint.

According to the programme El Chiringuito, the Portuguese coach of Real Madrid met his number 9 as early as breakfast at Valdebebas. The interview took place one‑on‑one, away from the usual cameras.

Mourinho's demands

Mourinho said he would defend Mbappé publicly against media questions. He also reminded of the importance of exemplary behaviour within the club and greater restraint on social media.

Mbappé trains at Valdebebas as his absence is clarified

Rumours of tension circulated after Radio mentioned a possible disappointment from the player over the club's lack of support for his 2026 Ballon d’Or candidacy. Mbappé responded with irony on his own platforms.

On the sporting side, Mbappé suffered a left‑knee injury at the end of September while playing for the French national team. He trained individually on Monday, under medical supervision.

Allowed to travel to Paris on Tuesday, he returned to the centre before Saturday's match against Villarreal at the Santiago Bernabéu. His starting place remains uncertain, with the staff considering a bench role.
