Union St Gilloise sign Ondrej Kricfalusi from Banik Ostrava

Union Saint-Gilloise have completed the signing of Czech midfielder Ondrej Kricfalusi from Banik Ostrava. The 22-year-old joins until 2030 after impressing in Banik Ostrava’s relegation campaign. Kricfalusi made 32 appearances and scored eight goals last season despite his club finishing bottom of the Czech top flight before securing survival in the playoffs. He began his career at Slavia Prague, making eight first-team appearances before moving to Teplice, where he played 42 games. Kricfalusi joined Banik Ostrava last summer and has now secured his move to Union Saint-Gilloise. Union Saint-Gilloise, cup holders and Pro League runners-up, continue their summer recruitment drive with this acquisition. The midfielder has also represented Czechia at U21 level.
